Each year the club celebrates the granting of it's charter. Our club was granted our Charter from Lions Clubs International in 1974.

The event, The club’s only formal event of the year, usually consists of a dinner followed by dancing to a disco or a live band. It is attended by most members of our club, the District Governor & spouse/partner if they are able to attend, Important members of the local community, Lions from other clubs, and their families and friends.
