Glebe School Sensory Unit

The Lions Club of Rayleigh have once again come up trumps to help the community by donating £4856 to Glebe Infants school unit for the hearing impaired and their new sensory room.

Mrs Dimmock the head teacher approached the lions for assistance to contribute towards furnishing the unit with the necessary equipment. The Lions believed it was such a good cause and decided to donate the full amount required out of funds raised within the community.

The sensory room will be a special area for the children to relax with fibre optic waterfalls, a Milky Way mat, and various other toys and equipment.
